Really cute, but a little smaller than I expected. A standard yellow cello sponge with the scrubby on one side just barely fits in there, (in width), you can of have to push it in to fit. The photo in the ad shows the sponge in the older with room to spare on both ends. I buy the standard sponges, they are all about the same size..maybe the company trimmed their sponges to look perfect in the marketing photos.
