This CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser is honestly a staple for me now. I love the size of the bottle—you get a lot of product, and it feels like it will last a long time. It’s fragrance-free, which I actually prefer, especially for daily use and sensitive skin. This cleanser is perfectly gentle, making it ideal for morning use after a retinol treatment at night. It cleanses without stripping the skin and leaves my face feeling soft, calm, and hydrated, not tight or dry. I’ve heard so many good things about this cleanser, and now I completely understand the hype. It fits perfectly into my skincare routine, and I’ll definitely be using it religiously every morning as part of my skincare phase. If you’re looking for a simple, effective, no-nonsense cleanser that supports your skin barrier and works well with actives like retinol, this one is absolutely worth having in your rotation Read more

This cleanser has become a staple in my skincare routine. It rinses away dirt and makeup without stripping my skin, and the texture feels creamy and soothing from the first wash. I especially love that it contains hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin — my dry skin feels noticeably more hydrated and calm after using it, even in colder months. It’s fragrance-free and gentle enough for everyday use. If you want a simple, reliable cleanser that actually supports moisture instead of drying your skin out, this is one of the best I’ve tried. I absoutely love the CereVe hydrating facial cleanser. I have used it for about 2 years now and I love how my skin looks and feels. It's super moisturizing with hyaluronic acid and ceramides and so gentle on my face. I am on tretioin so my skin is sensitive, this cleanser is perfect for my routine and prevents skin irritation while protecting my skin barrier. My dermatologist introduced me to it and I have recommended this to several of my friends. Read more

I’ve tried a bunch of face washes over the years, and most of them left my skin tight, dry, or weirdly irritated. I decided to switch to the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser after hearing so many good things about it — and honestly, I wish I had bought it sooner. First off, the texture is different from your typical foaming cleanser. It’s more like a creamy gel, which I actually ended up loving. It doesn’t strip your skin or leave that squeaky, dry feeling. Instead, it cleans without ever making my skin feel like it’s being punished. When I rinse it off, my face feels soft, calm, and hydrated — like I actually still have moisture in my skin. The ingredients are what make this thing so legit: hyaluronic acid for hydration, ceramides to repair the skin barrier, and glycerin to lock everything in. It’s fragrance-free, gentle, and literally approved by the National Eczema Association, so you know it’s made for sensitive skin. After using it daily, my skin went from dry and flaky to smooth and balanced. No breakouts, no redness, no random patches of irritation. It’s just a simple, dependable cleanser that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you wear sunscreen or light makeup, it removes it without any issues — and without needing two harsh cleanses. If you’re someone with normal to dry skin, sensitive skin, or you just want a face wash that won’t mess up your moisture barrier, this is hands-down one of the best options out there. It’s gentle, effective, and honestly makes washing your face feel like part of taking care of yourself rather than a chore. Highly recommend — it’s one of those products you buy once and immediately understand why everyone loves it. Read more

This is a fantastic daily cleanser for those who are mature have dry skin, like myself especially during colder months! I am pleasantly surprised how moisturizing it is while it cleanses unnecessarily oil-based dirt etc. After a wash, my skin is balanced, and yet feels fresh and brighter. I had skipped my morning cleanser for a reason because it makes my skin too dry but I felt I still need to remove dirt on my face too, so in this purpose this is my ideal holy-grail clanging product! My mature skin is at a point where it needs all the help it can get. It’s gone from being combination to dry skin. I’ve settled on CeraVe after research and reviews give it a high rating for performance and affordability. Needless to say, they are not wrong. It took a minute for me to get accustomed to the silky texture of the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, Moisturizing Face Wash. It has the thickness and consistency of a lotion: no foam, no suds. So applying this after wetting my face felt weird. Then massaging it into my skin? That felt even weirder. But the reward comes after rinsing off and patting dry. My skin feels soft and smooth. Fortunately, I haven’t experienced a negative reaction. The product lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. It’s perfect for cleansing in the morning when I’m washing off products I applied the night before. I make that distinction because I tried using this at night after wearing makeup and I had to wash twice. The CeraVe cream to foam cleanser is recommended for pm use and for makeup removal. I bought that as well even though I rarely wear makeup these days, but that’s another product review. I’m so pleased that I’ve added other CeraVe anti-aging products to my routine because who doesn’t want to age well? Read more
