This is a fantastic daily cleanser for those who are mature have dry skin, like myself especially during colder months! I am pleasantly surprised how moisturizing it is while it cleanses unnecessarily oil-based dirt etc. After a wash, my skin is balanced, and yet feels fresh and brighter. I’ve settled on CeraVe after research and reviews give it a high rating for performance and affordability. Needless to say, they are not wrong. It took a minute for me to get accustomed to the silky texture of the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, Moisturizing Face Wash. It has the thickness and consistency of a lotion: no foam, no suds. So applying this after wetting my face felt weird. Then massaging it into my skin? That felt even weirder. But the reward comes after rinsing off and patting dry. My skin feels soft and smooth. Fortunately, I haven’t experienced a negative reaction. The product lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. It’s perfect for cleansing in the morning when I’m washing off products I applied the night before.
