I recently began seeing a chiropractor and my biggest complaint was neck/shoulder stiffness and pain. I was told this issue may be connected with my pillow and the way that I sleep. I was initially skeptical, but this Cervical Neck Pillow has significantly improved my chronic neck stiffness and tension headaches, which I've suffered from for over a year. The contoured design effectively supports the natural curve of my neck, keeping my spine well-aligned whether I sleep on my back or side. The memory foam provides a supportive yet comfortable base. I used to wake up with persistent morning pain, but since switching to this, I feel noticeably more rested, and the stiffness has greatly diminished. The quality of my sleep has improved dramatically. My only small suggestion for improvement is that I truly wish it came with a removable, washable cover. This is a great pillow. After researching a bunch of pillows and reading reviews I decided on this pillow because of the cooling effect someone posted about while theyre going through menopause. I am in perimenopause and have started sweating at night and do far this pillow has lived up to the review. I have only used it a few nights so far but my sleep quality had improved immensely and I wake up with less headaches and backache. If youre on the fence, I highly recommend this pillow. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She has had issues sleeping soundly throughout the night for as long as she can remember. Always wakes up with back and neck pain. The product came as advertised and packaged well with instructions on how to use it. The smell disappeared after the 24 hours it said to let it sit, durability good, the height and thickness for me was what gave it a 4 and not a 5 as it was too thick and high for me for a full night's sleep. It seems like it functions as it states and for a short period of time it felt really comfortable, but about 4 hours of sleeping, I had to exchange it for my soft pillow that I can adjust to almost no pillow at all. Top Quality Cervical Neck Pillow with great price. I needed to sleep on my back because I have an ear problem which doesn't usually respond well if you sleep on the affected ear. I was used to sleeping on my side and could not sleep on on my back with a regular pillow. To my surprise, with this pillow I can just sleep on my back. My shoulders in the morning are not so stiff. The ear holes also do work well for side sleeping. The pillow did not have strong smell, its made of the more expensive quality memory foam. It doesn't seem overly hard or soft. It can be used from 2 directions which are slightly different in height. I am petite and the pillow actually fits my husband a little better, but it still works for me . (.Any of any of the Cervical neck pillows offered on Amazon will be more perfectly fitted to someone average size) The fabric on the pillow is cool and silky and washable. Doesn't look like it would be horrible to take off to wash, but I prefer to just use a light weight regular pillowcase for usual washing. Queen pillowcase definitely works well. Standard pillow case may as well. Discovered that with me on one ear hole sleeping on side, my husband could lie on the other side for a nice nap of "SPOONS". Husband joked that people using it that way might not get much sleep, but since I'm 78 years old I doubt it will cause US problems! Read more
