We use this for our patio for the time you have a little bit of garbage and need to through it away. We leave it in the corner, it does not stand out as looking weird. The lid opens smoothly, and closes smoothly. It holds the small amount of garbage, but it is what we intended it for, small papers, candy wrappers, etc. It fits perfectly in the corner, very easy to use and the lid seals well prevent odors from emitting from it. Looks good, has an inside bucket that can be removed, and has a soft close lid. We got this so my dog couldn’t get into the trash. Even though this is small trash can you should measure the area you intend to put it in. My bathroom is so tiny, that it doesn’t really fit well. I have a wall separating my vanity from the toilet so the lid hits the toilet or the tank on one side and gets in the way of the shower curtain on the other side. This is the perfect small garbage can for my upstairs bathroom. I like the way it soft closes. The quality is good. I like the idea of the insert to keep the can itself clean and the insert is washable by hand of course. I would recommend this brand very highly. They also have larger sizes for those people who need a bigger can. Also, a nice surprise it came with some plastic bag liners. I got this trashcan for a discreet disposal during “that certain time a month” and that could keep the dogs out of the trash. This little trashcan does just that, and also looks nice doing so. There is a pedal to open the top lid so you don’t have to touch it. There is a removable pale inside for easy dumping, and came with a couple free trashcan bags/liners for easy disposal.
