These gorgeous purple silk flowers came in a set of 16. I live in Michigan, and it's mid-April, so it's too early to plant real flowers. But the spring weather really calls for a pick-me-up, so I decided to use silk flowers outside this year. I'm not sure of the type of flower they're supposed to be, but you can zoom in on the photo to see the petals. They look like purple wildflowers to me. They are about 16" tall at full height. When you receive them, the 2 flower branches are pushed all the way down on their stems for packing purposes. You need to bend all 5 branches out from the base, like an umbrella, then slowly slide each floral group up its stem to the stopper for maximum height. I took the outer ones up all the way to the stopper, and the secondary ones I went halfway up the stem for more varying heights. I stuck them in my pot with dirt from last year, and added silk ornamental grass in the center (also from Amazon). 16 bunches come in the box, but I only needed 8 for this arrangement. I made 2. UPDATE : I just sprayed these flowers that had faded and I’ve attached pictures to show how well they were able to be covered and look like new (previously) These flowers did not hold their color which it said they did. Possibly a lighter color would hold better but the red has pretty much washed out to a light red. We don't get really hot in the NW ( Washington State) but we had some 90 degree weather for about 4 days. The flowers color did not hold up and we had only had them for about 2 weeks. I am disappointed in their condition but I do have to say we got quite a lot of them for the price . Very sturdy just don't expect the color to stay vibrant Read more

These come in an amazingly small box but once you spread out the flowers on each stem they make up a nice amount. The flowers are small and would be nice as fill for an arrangement with larger flowers. As a stand-alone bunch, they will nicely fill a 2 gallon pail or a 10 inch pot. I can't find nice little delicate looking artificial flowers in my area for this price. Not suited for outdoor exposure as advertised becaue they will fade quickly. I gave 3 stars because the description is not completely accurate and a bit misleading regarding size and durability for outdoors. Mine faded noticably within 2 weeks. When I first opened the package, I was honestly let down. I thought they looked cheap and I was not impressed. I mixed them with some other flowers and it is perfect. When you look at them up close, they aren’t very realistic looking. But, looking at them from a couple feet away they are perfect and look realistic.
