Love these sandals!!! They're not heavy like some. At first I thought the back strap was too loose but they're actually very nice because they don't rub in the back that way... for me they feet true to size and they were better for me than some chacos because they are not as wide (cuz I have scrawny feet) and they don't have as much height on the arch because some chacos are almost too high for my arch. I have been hunting for a pair of sandals that are: LIGHTWEIGHT, comfortable for full day of walking/moderate hiking, streamline appearance to match most outfits , wide enough for my toe box, good ankle support, good arch support, and durable enough to last a long time. My last sandals that sort of fit the bill for this were my teva flatform universal platform, but they were a little too tall to feel stable and don't have good arch support, compressed over time hence needing to replace them. I read a lot of reviews that said these shoes were too big and I thought that might be good for my semi wide feet. Once I wore them outside, I realized what people meant. Even though these fit me pretty well the sole of the shoes is heavy and since you can't adjust the straps separately the front of the shoes feels loose and floppy even though it's exactly my size. They were comfortable right out of the box, but I kept tripping over the front of the sandal. It's a shame because these shoes seem more durable than teva and also offer more arch support, plus they're cute. I think if they were a bit more lightweight that would have made them perfect. I ended up returning them and purchasing teva midform universal which gives me a tiny bit of height without feeling unstable and they were perfect for my hike recently, but I know they will also compress over the next few summers so womp womp womp. I absolutely love the way they look and feel. The only down part is the straps loosen as I walk. If I can find a way to keep the straps from loosening I may keep them. I’ve only worn them once. I love this brand that you can hike in their sturdy. My other pair of Chaco’s are heavy. The straps are very durable. The bottoms are thick and chunky and it one tie wraps around my toe and I was looking for something that wasn’t a toe restricting shoe that I can hike in and that grip. These shoes are definitely much lighter. The souls are not as thick or sturdy the tip of the sandals you can bend and the straps aren’t as dirty little bit more flimsy, but the color is perfect and it does go with a lot of outfits. they’re not the cutest, but that’s not what I was looking for. I was looking for something functional that I can wear on slippery surfaces walking a lot And rough terrain. Have to see I’ll keep these. I really want to because they are comfy, but I need the straps again to stay tightened. Any suggestions would be appreciate. Read more

I have 4 pair of Chacos and these are the most comfortable (besides my 15 yr old pair that are finally dying). The lightweight soles make them more pliable and yet they still have the arch support I need. No tightening of the straps when I walk, which was a problem with my last pair. I can wear them loose and yet the heel strap remains intact. I have walked 3+ miles with no problems. Will definitely be buying more! Read more
