Excellent quality and attention to detail. There is a small strap inside with a hook to attach to your keys, 2 slip pockets and a large zipper pocket inside. there is a large slip pocket secured with a magnetic snap on each side of the purse, a sturdy, detachable shoulder strap and the tote straps which are very sturdy. Purse is made of canvas in a striped burgundy with some brown and black trim. The inside lining is a satiny brown fabric with blue polka dots that is fun and also well made. I can't praise this purse enough; it is fun and well made! The one thing I wish was in the description was a picture showing someone carrying the purse. The dimensions given are true, but it helps to have a visual, so I've included a picture of the purse with someone holding it. It was bigger than I expected, even with the measurements being accurate. But I love the size and it stands up well, even though it's taller than it is wide! Worth every penny I paid for it! It will be my purse all winter to brighten up the dreary days and will move well into spring and summer. I got the cardinal design in memory of my sister and that makes it even more special. This is the largest purse I've ever owned. I was wary of getting such a large tote, thinking it'd be unwieldy. It's not! It's so well-made, the weight distributed evenly, the shape even while full doesn't feel obtuse or fat under the arm. The short straps are the perfect length and width to sit snugly on the shoulder and under the arm. I have 'weak shoulders' and it did not slip or run away from me at all. I love that it's a 'flat' build. I've kept papers, stickers, books, and other things I don't want to bend or get smooshed in this purse and they stay flat and upright! They don't sink and they don't get shifted about even with my wallet, glasses, phone, keys, and other sorts floating around in the purse. Even with the size of it, it's relatively easy to find everything inside as well. I haven't used it enough in the day-to-day to comment on durability but it feels like it can take life's wear and tear. Going off my other smaller canvas Chala purse and my 'leather' Chala wallet, which have held up wonderfully in the last two months of daily use, I'd say this one will do fine with the mix material. No idea how it does in the rain, though. It has a slightly almost waxed feel to the canvasy parts so it might be able to keep a light drizzle out. Simply a fantastic tote. Worth the purchase! Update after months of use: I'm still loving this bag! I get compliments everywhere I go! It's durable and still looks great. It doesn't seem to show any wear and tear or dirt even though this thing gets put through the ringer. It still looks new. I'm going to get another one just to swap out now and then. I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with an item. When this arrived I was so happy at the craftsmanship and quality of this bag. It is so cute and so unique that I just know I'm going to get tons of compliments. The snaps snap tightly, there's lots of room, the interior is polka dot with such a fun color! This is actually my 2nd one of this purse! I had my 1st one for 10 years, and it recently started having wear issues. I love this particular design so much that I ordered another one! I like the whimsy of the sloth on the front of the bag, first and foremost. I also love the color combo of brown and light blue. The interior is a sort of vinyl material which I think will hold up to the inevitable spills/leaks that sometimes happen inside purses. I can carry my wallet, makeup bag, feminine items like pads and tampons, my inhaler, mace, sunglasses & regular glasses and still have room for my iPad and a snack without feeling like I'm overstuffing it. I have not used the extra long strap but that might come in handy some day if I do want to wear it as a cross body. In the meantime, the handle drop is just right to tuck under my arm. I was skeptical about the outside pocket fitting my new iPhone 13 because it sticks out a little, but it stays in there very snug. The removable key chain is perfect; I use it for my work keys and then when I get to work I take them off and hook my car/house keys to it. I've only used it for a week but it seems very well made.
