I bought this exercise ball so that I could do some of the exercises that my physical therapist assigned to me. It's a very comfortable weight and density. In addition to the exercises I planned to use with it, sometimes I place it behind my back and press up against a wall to gently massage some of the misaligned parts of my back. You may be familiar with this kind of technique using tennis balls or something similar, as it's something PT will often prescribe to you. But having the larger denser softer ball provides a nice option as well. Overall a great purchase on my part and I use it very frequently. Read more
Perfect texture, easy to hold and has some bounce. Very nice product. Read more
Having gone to a few gyms in my day I expected this to be a solid ball with gel in the inner chamber. So that you are aware what this is is the equivilent of a four-square ball with gel inside. It has very thick wills to the ball but it is still elastic in nature find myself nervous that it will rupture someday and the gel carnage will be disasterous. The lighter weight balls 8 lbs and less this does not matter because they are stable enough on own but especially on the largest ball I tend to be a little cautious with it but it still gives the benefit needed from a medecine ball I am just not willing to test it for durrability, have had for months now with no problem though. No leaks and as mentioned the walls of the ball are quite thick so I am probably worried over nothing. Gave it a 4 because not being a solid ball makes storage a little difficult Read more

Perfect medicine ball for foot rehab. I bought this to help with post-surgery foot rehab based on my physical therapist's description. They can be hard to find in local sporting good stores. After looking online and around our area, I found this one and ended up buying 2-one for home and one for work. This one mimics the one my physical therapist uses with me. It's squishy enough to roll your foot on, but firm enough to provide resistance. Great for seated toe/calf raises and rolling the ball of your foot---the whole foot really--for an effective stretch. Has held up well to months of foot rolling without issue. Has a bit of weight to it (a few pounds), but light enough to pick up and move with one hand. Read more
The ball is very large for a 15 lbs ball and the surface texture makes it hard to hold without gloves. Read its very slippery. I'm hoping the strong plastic smell will wear off -not a bad ball for the money, but wish I had read the circumference - its a little big for my average size female adult hands. And the gel will take a little getting used to. Read more
I have a problem with trigger points. They are painful to work out with a tennis ball or foam roller. I asked my physical therapist and she said to try the gel filled medicine ball. I did and wish I had known about them long before now. They are much easier on my muscles than the direct too-firm tennis ball/foam roller technique. It still gets the job done and without the additional trauma to the trigger point area. I highly recommend this item Read more
