I was born with no butt. I have power squatted for years, but alas, I think I'm missing muscle back there. Belts do not work. There is nothing to rest it on. But these belts dont loosen until you want. These stay put and are amazing. I bought two. Will buy more! Read more

So let me tell you where I'm coming from... 27 years of professional 2A type work. This belt is ridiculously well suited for EDC or non-uniform work. I've used it for IWB, small of back, and hip and it supports all perfectly... very rigid. I have not had the buckle slip not even one click since I've had it. Cut it off a couple inches longer than you need regularly if you are going to use it for IWB and make sure you melt the cut end. And for reference, this has replaced my 70 dollar belt from SOE. This makes for a nice work belt. It is wide, feels very sturdy and has almost infinite adjustment increments to get just the right amount of tension to hold your trousers up regardless of the amount of weight you may be carrying around. The wide black webbing does kind of standout and therefore I doubt one would want to wear it for even dress up casual. However, I really like it for jean wear around home when I am working. I no longer have to repeatedly keep pulling my jeans up by the waist. Releasing the belt and pulling it open works very smoothly. My belt fit perfectly right out of the box and needed no cutting. I like the belt in terms of appearance and general fit/function. However, soon after wearing it, I felt it start to slip under stress. It's OK if I'm just wearing on an average day. But if I bend over to tie my shoe or I'm doing a lot of manual work (up, down, etc.) then the ratcheting lock slips and it gets loose. So, I really can't wear it on a day when I'm doing a lot of physical labor. Note: I'm a slim tall healthy dude -- I don't have a big gut that the belt is trying to manage.
