My husband is a chapstick snob and needs chapstick everywhere. This is perfect to make sure he has a car chapstick, a nightstand chapstick, a desk chapstick, a couch chapstick etc etc! Read more

We use a lot of chapstick in my house. We live in a climate that gets very dry in the winter. My husband is addicted to chapstick. He can go through a tube a week. These little miracle sticks can be pretty expensive at the store. This is by far the best bargain I have found. They come in the box, sealed, just as shown here. Very convenient for keeping them from becoming MIA, especially with children running around. I personally love the sour apple flavor by this brand. But, this is my husband's favorite. It lasts longer on your lips than other treatments, and it heals faster. You aren't left with a waxy feeling on your lips. I would recommend this to anyone that suffers from dry lips. I would also recommend this to anyone that wants to keep their lips healthy, young-looking, and smooth. Read more
My husband goes through these Chapsticks like nobody's business! I have joked for years that I should just buy him a case to keep from having to buy a stick every time we are at the grocery store or pharmacy, but when it has become difficult to locate the original flavor in stores, I finally started to look for such a solution. The "black chapstick" as we call it, or original formula, really is very moisturizing and sticks around on your lips longer than other brands like Vaseline or aquaphore. It has a scent but it is pleasant and not too strong. In grocery stores, these are usually 2 dollars each, so buying 24 at once is a better deal and much more convenient, especially now that many stores only carry other flavors and not the original. Years ago I had acne, and my doc gave me some pills for a few months that he said would cure the acne. It did. But while I was on it, the doc advised me to start using chapstick because my lips were going to get dry for a while. I'd never been a big user of chapstick. I'd buy maybe one stick a year for a particularly dry week in the winter, and then I'd lose it. Well this doc had me use it for three months straight, every day. Problem is, by the time I finished the medication regimen, my lips were physically addicted to chapstick, and they have been every since (for over a decade now). Even a few hours without the stuff feels uncomfortable. I have a surprisingly difficult time even getting to sleep unless I've applied some. I buy them in boxes of 20 or so, because if I lose one, I need to find another one immediately or else I have to drive all the way to the store or I'll go nuts. For anyone thinking it's psychological, some years back I did try just stopping to see what happened. By about day five, my lips were so dry that laughing or smiling would cause my lips to crack and bleed in multiple places. And it only seemed to be getting worse. So I gave in and I've been using the stuff ever since. Read more
I like the original ChapStick because the medicated and/or flavored ones always seem to irritate. I ordered this 24 stick refill because I use a lot of ChapStick. The only disappointment with this selection is that they did not come in a box but were individually packaged with that nasty, frustrating plastic packaging that everyone hates. It seems to me it would be much cheaper to simply put 24 sticks in one box. Read more
