It isn't as if you ever want to just take a big chomp off your lip balm (or lip goo, as we call it in our house), but it really is quite nice any time of the year to have this peppermint stuff keeping your lips from turning into a desert. I have done some research into things that are gluten free; I've had to, since my diagnosis of celiac disease some years ago. Believe it or not, some lip goos actually can have gluten in them, or are subject to cross-contamination, which can be a disaster for someone who cannot digest gluten.
