The adjustable grippers secure the mount in a variety of cup holder sizes. The description says it only fits round holders, but it's easy to fit into other cup holder shapes with a little twisting and patience. The expandable bracket will hold a phone in a case oriented longways or a tablet mounted on its short side. The ball joint lets you swivel to any orientation, though the grippers have to stay on the sides for it to work properly. The double hinge gives a lot of adjustability for positioning - you can have it mounted directly over the cup holder or extended out in front of it. The ring mechanism lets you slide the device forward and backward about 2 inches to dial in the exact position you need. Good way to keep a tablet out of kids' laps during long road trips, which eliminates the neck pain from looking down. This holder is for light duty scenarios. I wouldn't use it in a semi-truck, RV, or other heavy-duty situations. Yes, it will hold your tablet, assuming the cup holder is deep enough, but I'm always afraid it will pop out. That hasn't happened yet, but it sometimes moves around unexpectedly and needs to be retightened, so keep that in mind. Overall, it works as expected. Read more

This product works well. I actually got it for the cupholder in my couch to use with my tablet to read, look at social media, and create videos/pics to review items. I use it with my Samsung S10 FE (10.9 inch). It fits perfectly, even with a case. I had an idea to just keep the tablet mounted to the stand, to transport to my SUV, so I could use it for GPS instead of my phone. I have a Toyota 4runner, but it didn't work (for me) because it didn't extend high enough for my comfort (I didn't want to look down while driving). Also, the instructions manual was not helpful at all. It only gave instructions on how to mount the tablet, no directions on how to adjust either parts of the arm, or the width of the base that inserts in the cupholder. Although I like the product overall, it doesn't work well in my SUV. It probably is fine for a regular car. If I were buying it for a car, it would be worth to buy. Read more

This tablet mount is reasonably secure and reasonably versatile. It's not as sturdy or as stiff as some of Charchendo's other offering which use aluminum articulation balls and arms, so I was a little disappointed on that. It also does not have quite the range of positioning those offer. Another thing is that many cup holders don't have material evenly surrounding the whole cup, this means you may need to rotate the base to align. Unfortunately I didn't find a way to fully adjust the orientation of the arm relative to the base. It worked out well enough but wasn't quite ideal. If you have a very thick tablet case, this may not be enough to hold it securely. To get it to work with our 6th gen iPad and it's case with protective flap, I had to thread the mount through the hole that is part of the case design on ours. I did get it to fit the cup holders at the back of the console in our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan in order to position it for the second row passengers. Our cup holder is actually removable though, so it may end up flopping around a bit unless I find a way to anchor the cup holder with screws or something. Read more

I received the adjustable extendable cup holder tablet stand. The tablet stand seems to work well. The joints are notched and not held by just friction so it shouldn't slip. The quality seems good. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do. I feel like this product is a good value. Read more
