Given the high price tag of the Meta smart glasses, I was initially hesitant to trust a third-party charging dock. However, after using this station daily for two weeks, those concerns have vanished. I wear my Metas primarily for blue light filtering during the workday, and this dock significantly improves my workflow. It eliminates the friction of constantly putting the glasses back into their folding travel case just to top off the battery, allowing me to save the case’s battery life for when I actually leave the house. The design is surprisingly robust. The nose bridge connector snaps firmly into place with a reassuring click, and my Wayfarer frames sit securely without wobbling. The LED indicator is a simple but effective feature, clearly switching from orange to green when the cycle is complete. Most importantly, the charging has been consistent; I haven't experienced any overheating or connection errors. The base has enough weight to stay put on my desk without sliding around. If you are looking for a dedicated home base for your glasses to keep them charged and visible, this is a solid choice. Read more

I really like how sturdy this charging block is! Whenever I spend a lot of money on high brand products i tend to stay within the brand if I need certain things for it. However who doesn’t like saving a few dollars here and there, am I right 😃? Well, sometimes it’s a hit and miss. I feel like this one is both. The hit is the price of course! Along with the smooth finish and practical design! It’s easy to use, a 2nd grader could charge your glasses if you needed some extra hands. However, I wasn’t a particular fan of how cheap it feels in regards to the weight. I’m happy that I’m not being graded on the block I use for charging my glasses. It’s very smooth and sleek looking on the outside, but when you go to pick it up, it’s a different story. It doesn’t take away from the functionality most of the time though. This is why I say "most of the time". It’s only supposed to signal a green light when it is fully charged. I have noticed that before it reaches a full charge, it has still signaled green. I am positive it has nothing to do with my glasses. They are fairly new. Overall, i like (not love) the item. I don’t know if I would gift this to someone, just because I like to go above and beyond for people when I gift them and this one isn’t as high of quality as I would like personally. If I wouldn’t buy it twice then I wouldn’t consider it gift worthy. Read more

This charging dock is a total game changer for my Meta smart glasses. My first impression was how stable it feels right out of the box; the wide base design is excellent and keeps it from tipping over, which was a worry with other models I looked at. The build quality feels solid, and the glasses snap securely onto the connector without any fuss—they don't slip or fall off at all. I love that I can just drop my Wayfarers on the dock to top them up without digging out the bulky original case every time. For the convenience and the secure fit, this is fantastic value for money. This is a great charging station that seems to be compatible with a wider range of Meta Smart Glasses than some others, though I can only personally confirm that it works well with the Skyler glasses. I like the idea that if I trade up they should continue to work for the next pair. They are much easier for me to find on my desk than the ones that have a smaller footprint, but they still don't take up "too much" space. I hope that makes some sense. The dock is also more stable, so there are far fewer opportunities for them to end up on the floor as they do with other charging apparatus that I have tried. Read more
