Works well so far for my purposes. I bought it mostly to streamline the mess of cables that were previously attached to a horizontally-oriented USB hub with fewer ports connected to my old keyboard's passthrough; think small USB-powered devices like a mini desk fan, a strip light for my desk, an accent light, a digital clock, that sort of thing.
