Charlotte Tilbury Big Lip Plumpgasm Lip Gloss - Gift Set Essential - Hydrating Plumper with Hyaluronic Acid Heat

I have Charlotte Tilbury's Big Lip Plumpgasm gloss in the shade "Pillow Talk Medium-Deep," and I love it so much that I already ordered it in three other shades. This particular shade reminds me of a deep coffee and dark red rose shade that's vampy without being full-on goth. It's an easy to wear shade, like stepping a toe into the vamp realm (on my very fair skin, at least) while still being easy to wear. I really like it as a fall and winter lip, especially. The formula is highly glossy, but it stays put without a lip liner (especially good for a plumping gloss - I hate it when a plumping gloss formula migrates and makes the skin around my lips red and irritated; that's not cute at all). If I'm not in the mood for the high gloss look, I leave it on for 5-15 minutes and then blot it, and it leaves me with incredibly pouty, full, pillowy lips for about two hours, and they look very natural and luscious just topped with a lip balm. It really does feel like this has "heat and ice technology" because it mixes a peppery heat (capsicum frutescens resin) with a minty, refreshing tingle. The tingle is present and noticeable, but it never reaches painful or irritating levels for me. It also has a vanilla scent with a hint of cocoa that I really enjoy. Overall, the formula is hydrating and full of prestige ingredients that are familiar in formulas from Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, and Pat McGrath. It's definitely a high end lip formula that adds in skincare actives like sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), vitamin E, and Vitamin C. I also have to say that I LOVE the adorable packaging for this gloss. The tube is larger and chonkier than I expected, and it's so comfy in hand. The packaging for these really goes over the top glam, which is so Charlotte Tilbury. I recommend this if you want a comfortable lip plumper with a longer lasting gloss and plumping effect than most glosses, a yummy vanilla cocoa scent, and hydration in one of Charlotte Tilbury's signature shades. A very pretty gloss — the packaging looks genuinely luxe. Now honestly about the effect: it burns. It really burns. Not to the point of tears, but the sensation is strong — typical for plumpers. If you like that tingling-burning effect, you’ll enjoy it. If not, it’s good to know ahead of time. The shade is nice, pink nude, makes the lips look fresh and a bit fuller. I've always loved the pillow talk lipstick and I was happy to find the plumper! This has a nice light neutral color. Just enough to give a touch of color and the plumping is quite good... Not a super burning one like some cheaper brands. This gives that nice shine and a little fullness. It actually lasts quite a while! I love this brand and highly recommend it.
