Charlotte Tilbury Eyeliners: Pillow Talk vs. Walk of No Shame
The media could not be loaded. I ordered the Charlotte Tilbury pencil eyeliners in Pillow Talk and Walk of No Shame, and after testing them side-by-side, I honestly think that most people could comfortably choose just one. The shade difference is so subtle - much more subtle than in Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks, blushes, or eyeshadows - and in daily wear, the two shades read as nearly identical. Pillow Talk leans slightly softer and dustier, with more of a muted pink-rose tone. It feels romantic and understated, and I think it pairs beautifully with brown, nude, and rose-toned eye looks. Walk of No Shame, on the other hand, is just a touch deeper and redder. The difference is small but noticeable if you look for it. It gives a slightly more sultry, dramatic effect, and I like it with red, berry, and plum-leaning eyeshadows. But again, the differences between these two in eyeliner form are much more subtle than in other Tilbury products. Unless you're a Charlotte Tilbury collector, most people will not need both. Formula-wise, though, they're both excellent. The pencils glide on creamy and pigmented, give you a short window to smudge or soften the edges, and then set into a truly budge-proof, mostly waterproof finish that lasts all day. They're comfortable to wear, easy to control, and reliably long lasting. If you prefer a softer, more romantic look, I'd say to go for Pillow Talk. If you want something a touch deeper and more dramatic, choose Walk of No Shame. Most people won't notice much difference between the two. Either way, the quality is fantastic, and I think these are worth the money for the high quality, smooth application, and comfy, long wear time. Read more
