Never in a million years would I have thought I’d ever go out public wearing a bathing suit of any type at my age. Nor did I think I'd be hosting the photos of myself in a bathing suit on the Internet, but I had to show it off! This bathing suit made all the difference for me! Normally I'll wear shorts and an old T-shirt into our pool, and as for the beach, well, wearing a bathing suit to the beach isn't going to happen. It would definitely be shorts and a T-shirt. Until now. The skirt a double layered light chiffon-like material, and is longer than ones on most bathing suits making it flow nicely. On me it reaches halfway down my thighs covering up things I would never normally give anyone's eyes access to in public. The body of the suit is very supportive, fitting my upper body and waist perfectly. It minimizes my otherwise ample areas, smoothing and shaping nicely. Overall, this bathing suit exceeded my expectations! The material is soft, and the shoulder straps fit very comfortably without cutting into my skin. The front is perfect and supports things that need to be supported without pushing things up and out like some bathing suits do. I don't feel like I'm even wearing a bathing suit. The bottom covers my bottom, I mean all of it, and doesn't crawl up places it's not supposed to go. That alone makes me love this bathing suit even more. But my most favorite part about this bathing suit is the skirt: it drapes over everything that needs to be covered and then some. I've always wanted a bathing suit that had a flowy skirt, and even though I would've loved it if this one had it been longer, the one on this suit is very nice and still drapes beautiful. This swimsuit/swim dress is absolutely adorable! It’s as cute as I’d hoped it would be for sure. The only issue I would note is that the color is a little bit different than how it’s depicted on the listing. The listing photo shows the swimsuit as being exactly the same color on the top and bottom, with the skirt half having layers but otherwise matching the color of the top. In the swimsuit I received, the top is a few shades darker than the “skirt” bottom, enough that it’s an obvious two-toned look. Instead of the swim dress being one identical shade of teal, the top is like a dark forest green, and the skirt is lighter in color and closer to a dark turquoise green. When you lift the skirt you do see that there is a regular swimsuit bottom underneath that matches the color and fabric of the top. With all of that said, I was so in love with this swimsuit that I almost completely forgot about the color thing once I tried it on. Had the seller’s photo been accurate this would’ve been a 5 star product because this is possibly my favorite swimsuit ever! It’s just not exactly what I was expecting given the photos in the listing. So hopefully this review helps. Check my photos to get an idea, although it was very hard to capture the colors accurately on my old smartphone’s camera, so go off my description above to get the most accurate idea of what the colors really look like. With that said - the suit itself is breathtaking. I ordered in my regular size L and it fits perfectly - I’m 5’7” 165 lbs and it was neither too tight nor too loose in any area. I would say this fits completely true to size and recommend sticking with your regular swimsuit size. The suit seems really well made, and I’ll be taking it to our family’s vacation at an indoor water park & hotel later this month as I think it will hold up well to running around the resort, and will be perfect for looking cute and covered up enough around the kiddos. If I have any issues with it I will update this but from trying it in and examine it, it seems very well made. Overall I absolutely recommend this suit, just know that in the turquoise color at least, the top and the skirt bottom are not the same shade/color. This doesn’t bother me at all in fact I love the colors of the real suit so I do wish they would’ve shown them correctly in their listing. Otherwise this is a perfect 5 star product. Sooo cute and it’s especially perfect for when you want some decent skin coverage but also wanna look cute! I’m so excited to get to wear this out soon!! This swimdress covers in all the right areas. There is adequate coverage in the bust area, the suit comes up high enough in the back to cover rolls, and it falls mid thigh. The dress part is flowy yet lightweight. The top has a scalloped edge for style. It is nice to have the tummy control area. This swimsuit does not rise but stays put and is comfortable. It has just enough stretchiness and feels like it is good quality and not too thin. Read more
