Perfect sized bag for what I needed. It even looks nice! In the main compartment I can fit my insurance docs, the waterproof liner for my jacket, disc lock, wallet, phone and keys with a little extra space. I also managed to fit my Nalgene in there instead of the jacket liner, but the zipper was a little strained and I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe it would work on a bigger, flatter tank. The mesh outer pocket could hold a multi-tool. I managed to fit my phone in there but didn't find it useful because I couldn't really see the screen. The bottom outer pocket could fit keys or small snacks. It took some playing around with the positioning of the magnet flaps to make the bag feel properly seated on the Ninja 400 tank, but once set it doesn't budge. The magnets are very strong. The bag was not affected at all by highway speeds (70mph). It does slightly block my access to the ignition switch, but again, it's a fairly small tank. One downside I found: It doesnt come with a rain cover and there is no option to buy one. Maybe it's too small for that, but having the option to waterproof it would have been nice. It does feel water-resistant just from the textile materials they used, but I don't plan to trust it in a downpour. Build quality feels solid and I expect it to last a good while. My bag sadly arrived without a shoulder strap, which had been a big draw for me. A quick call to Chase Harper customer service and they shipped one out to me at no extra charge. The magnets wore through the liner within a couple of months, and little pieces of metal stuck out scratched the paint on the tank right through to bare metal. Terrible product. Do not buy! Read more

Fits perfectly on my Ninja ZX6R. Magnets are extremely strong for the size of the bag and will hold on any speed this bike is capable of, which is a lot :). I ordered some of the bigger models but that one is the keeper. It’s enough for wallet, in the little compartment, electric pump and a fix tire kit plus a packable rain jacket in the front. And a multi tool in the mesh compartment on top. For more than that I rather have a bag pack and tail bag. Very common to learn over. A must have for sports bikes. Read more

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Just a small bag to throw my wallet, keys, pocket knife, dip, & phone in to run around. I don't like riding with things in my pocket. I had a tail bag. But, it took away from the aesthetics of my bike. Too few items for a back pack. I didn't want a big tank bag. Searched & searched & came across this one. Slim & low profile. Just grab & go when I get anywhere. So glad I didn't go with the cheaper yet bulkier tank bags. These magnets seem very solid! They hold fine for commuting (70mph +/-), at least. Great pick because this bag allows for lock-to-lock steering without any contact at the bars. It’s more spacious than it appears in photos.
