I just purchased this chefman air fryer the other day. Placed the order & it was delivered in 2 speedy day's. This air fryer work so well I was very surprised how well it cooks up all kinds of meats, veggies. Shrimp, I love it what a great buy this one is. Plus it's on sale, you can't beat that. I bought this air fryer because I got tired of my oven, in the summer time, the oven heats up the whole house. So I replaced my oven for this chefman air fryer. It's easy to use, plus it doesn't take up a lot of room on my kitchen counter top. Cooks faster than a oven. This is a great buy if your looking to buy a air fryer, buy this one. My previous air fryer (with a door and trays) died after many years of use. Transitioning to a drawer style is an adjustment, though this Chefman has a window which makes it easier to adapt to (you can stop cooking before the food burns, the inside light is also bright). While I liked having multiple trays in my old unit, it did require constant moving of the trays to keep the top tray from burning and to even out the cooking. The weakness of the drawer version is you have to reach into it to flip the food, that was easier with trays and a door. However, this airfryer is quieter, powerful, and there is adequate cooking area. Also, the drawer is easier to clean than the previous air fryer that had a heavy glass door/hinge area that always got messy, not to mention the walls that were always coated in burned oil. Read more

Air fryers are amazing! This one has a great price point and works perfectly. Trying to figure out if it has an automatic shut off so far I haven’t been able to figure it out instructions don’t cover it. So I wind up unplugging from the wall. Read more

Update from 5 to 3 stars, 11/2025: The front window of the basket broke apart. I contacted the manufacturer and got no help. It can likely be glued back on with silicone adhesive but shouldn't come apart after less than 6 months of light use. Fryer still works though. Original review: My wife wanted an air fryer so I bought one. After looking for some we decided to buy this one for the 6 qt size, the transparent front window and apparently not too many failures in regards to web reviews. It came in like new condition and works like it should. I just hope it lasts a while. Great fryer and my wife is happy with it. It gets a little hot on the outer side but that is to be expected. The heat has to go somewhere. It is not too loud. Size is great for a small family. Bigger would occupy too much space on the counter and also would be slower or use more power. The high fry 450 degree feature works also. Just need to wait till the end of the fry cycle then you can use it. it beeps then, so you know when you can start it. I do also find it very good that it is easy to operate. Inside light can be switched on to see what happens with the food. The inside is non-stick coated metal.
