These waffle weave drying towels are fantastic. I can dry my entire car (BMW 840xi Gran Coupe) with just one towel. Very absorbent, and no swirl marks or scratches of any kind. Being lightweight makes it easy to handle, though on bigger flat spots like the hood or roof, it can streak a little and doesn’t soak up as much water. Compared to my Autofiber Dreadnought XL, which is heavier and about three times the price, the Dreadnought dries large panels faster and in fewer passes. But that’s the point, you’re paying a premium for that performance. For everyday use and quick drying jobs, this Chemical Guys towel punches above its price and holds up as a budget-friendly option.
