Didn't work well. Gave my daughter a rash Read more
I remember using these in the early 2000s for my sensitive skin and not having any problems, BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE WITH THESE! Yes, they are essentially very fine grit sandpaper. Yes it removes the hair- BUT it also requires a lot of “sanding” which also over exfoliates the skin. This left my skin with a horrible burning sensation, raw skin, and patches of hair that I could not remove. Would not use or buy again! Read more
I bought this as a replacement. It does the job, you have to use it carefully. Only thing I do not like about it is the plastic they used really stinks. I put it outside for a week but still smells Read more
This product worked great for me. I have thin leg hair. It also prevents the red bumps and itching from shaving. I like that it comes with multiple pads. The crystal hair removers normally come on a big plastic handle and don’t last for long- this seems wasteful. This product is great though. I like that you can buy just the pad refills. The pads don’t stick well to the handle, but it still works. My skin was very soft and smooth afterwards. Read more
I have been looking for a substitute for the Smooth Away version of hair removal as that brand worked perfectly for me. However, this particular brand/version is NOT comparable. It did eventually remove hair, but left my skin red and raw for two days(even after using soothing creams and oils). I never had that problem with the Smooth Away brand and so I CANNOT recommend this brand. Each patch stuck fairly well to the base and hair WAS removed, that is the only reason for the 2 star review. I have really sensitive skin, it took off the hair but there is still pokie leg hair. And now my legs are super irritated. After they get back to normal, I’ll repeat process to see if I can get them softer and fully no hair Read more

What I did to give it 5 stars. Legs yes! Face must be done softly or you'll chap your skin. Dry skin. Exfoliate few days before. Little circles left and right and patience! Grow your hair out if you're new. Wipe the paper and your leg consistently through the process. First time about an hour after that 20mins or so. Used two papers for each leg. Have good lighting. I put baby oil on after but if you're experiencing anything more than a light burn you have to go softer. Don't get stuck on a hair or spot, move on and come back to it. Read more
the pads do not adhere to the holder very well; some hairs were removed, but mostly it buffed/exfoliated my skin; since the hairs were still visible, I kept trying until I realized my skin was starting to get raw and red. I tried my legs again the next day, but the skin was still too raw and I ended up shaving the hairs that were missed - the raw-redness wasn't painful, but it was not pretty and it did not clear until after 3 days and a lot of moisturizer. I had also tried to use the small pads on my upper lip, but the pads felt way too harsh and I was already exfoliated, so it just made my face a little red. Hours later my face was more red and touch sensitive and it took more than a day to heal. Read more
