I previously purchased this same dress in burnt orange years ago and it is still one of my favorite dresses. The fabric is thick and opaque - overall good quality, even years later. When I repurchased in black, straight out of the package the fabric felt thin, which had me worried. But after washing it, the fibers bloomed and became the same quality of dress that I was used to. Loved this dress! Was very hesitant about it, and I bought several styles for an outdoor formal winter wedding in So Cal. The fabric is thick enough for some warmth, clings to curves but not tight.
