Sooooo... I made this for my bf for his first time😂 He never wants coffee again! (Even though I put it in his coffee lol) It does not have any funky taste it. Color is a beatitudes fresh green. In the past when I’ve picked this up at stores the matcha blend powder was a vibrant green and it was tasty, fresh, and flavorful. The matcha flavor was also of good quality and it was definitely satisfactory for the amount and price point. Recently I ordered this from this seller / Amazon and what I received was terrible. The bag I got was marked with an expiration date of 2024 but I genuinely don’t believe it’s accurate and that I received a flawed batch, or the expiration date is deceptively marked. This one is completely different from batches I’ve gotten in stores in the past. The bag from Amazon is dark, dingy, and closer to a muddy green/brown color than the usual saturated, nice green color. I could look beyond the color of the matcha blend powder if the taste was fine. However, the flavor of the powder is shockingly and distinctly off. It tastes like dirt, no matter how much honey or what type of milk I use for making a matcha latte. It’s not good. Do not order. Seller also doesn’t accept returns or offer replacements and/or refunds. Seriously get a different matcha from somewhere else. Read more
