I love matcha! I love buying just the matcha powder in of the latte mix. I can make a variety of things with it. I can determine how strong I want it for the end result. I do mix a portion at a time up with organic sugar for a latte mix. I use 2 parts sugar to 1 part matcha and that’s sweet enough for me. It’s cheaper this way to make an organic latte. Read more

Bought this package of matcha at a good price. Lasts very long for my daily matcha fix. Given this price this a good quality matcha, a bit bitter but not overbearing, the next step up would be ceremonial grade but at the price it may not feasible for many. Mixes easily into hot liquids, 1 tsp is enough to get good tasting cup of matcha depending on how strong you like it. Great quality, no impurities, fine bright green powder. Will be suitable for most people except if you are a matcha connoisseur. Read more

This is not Matcha. It is brown. Other than bitter, it has no discernible taste. Those who have given positive reviews possibly have not tased Matcha. Read more

I appreciate how one commenter put it, that, essentially, it’s bitter because it’s affordable. It may end up being too bitter for my taste, too early to tell, but I can’t say it would be that way for every person. It’s absolutely worth trying. You get a very nice quantity. I love matcha in my coffee, thought, again, the bitterness may be a deal-breaker for that purpose. But I could see using this for baking and there’s certainly plenty to experiment with. Overall, I’m satisfied. Read more

That's good matcha. It's not ceremonial matcha, but for everyday use it's more than ok. I make traditional matcha when we order sushi or other Japanese food, and I make matcha coffee latte every morning, so I use a lot of it. That's why both qualify and price are important. So I found this matcha and I am happy Read more

I ordered this matcha tea recently since there was a sale from the seller ( though I had to pay for shipping). The order arrived two days early. After reading all the reviews, I was really concerned that it would be a terrible product. Amazingly, it is the best matcha I have had, and I have tried about three other kinds on Amazon. I am not an expert on ceremonial grade, but culinary grade I know, and this tea is great. Others have noted a bitter taste, bad coloring, grainy, etc., but I don't experience that..to me, as far as taste it is more of a tart aftertaste, that I like. I had ordered one lb. packs, and the seller enclosed a nice letter apologizing that they were sending the order amount in 4 oz. packets due to a warehouse issue, but I really actually preferred that better. Overall very satisfied, and I will definitely order from this seller in the future. Read more
