This product has an insanely excellent design. The removable inner tray is a complete game changer! Before, shredding meat by hand was rough on our older hands, but this tool’s spinning action makes it effortless. It can handle just about anything (no bones, of course) — pork, chicken, beef, and even fish for salads or tacos. My mother is in her 80s, and she absolutely loves it because it’s so gentle on her hands. All you have to do is drop the meat inside, spin it back and forth about 270 degrees, then lift out the inner tray, dump the shredded meat, and repeat. It’s that simple. We shredded 20 pounds of pork in under 10 minutes with this — though I did have someone helping me dump the tray. The tray is designed to fit into the shredder only one way, so don’t try to force it if it doesn’t slide in easily. Cleanup is a breeze, too. It’s dishwasher safe; I put it on the bottom rack on a high-heat cycle, and it came out perfectly clean. If you love BBQ or use shredded meat in your cooking, this tool is an absolute no-brainer. OMG I LOVE this!! It is sooo easy to shred meat with! The only bad thing Id say is the rubber grip under it so it doesn't slip while turning helps but still sometimes slips. Not enough for me not to love how this works! Price is amazing, Soo easy to use, and clean. This is my new favorite kitchen addition!!! I will buy this as gifts for people!!! This worked great and is so much easier then 2 forks. It only takes a few minutes to shred meat. The only issue is it is pretty hard to wash by hand because of the spikes. Not a reason to not have it, but just a heads up that you will need a brush. Read more
