I had high hopes for this and thought it would be cute to wear over some casual dresses this fall. Honestly, it looks like something either a 5 year old would wear, or maybe an 80 year old. Its cute. But when I put it on I definitely looked like I should I lay a blanket over my lap and sit in my rocker on the porch whole doing needle point. (Not trying to be mean, just trying to paint a picture. Haha) I just dont forsee woman in their 20s-40s wearing this and looking fashionable. As far as the material and quality it is well put together. The only drawback is the sizing description, which does not seem entirely accurate. The size large is listed as fitting 165 to 185 pounds and sizes 12 to 14. At 5’6” and slightly below 165 pounds, I expected a loose fit; however, the large fits closer to a true size 12 and seems best suited for a maximum of around 160 pounds. While it fits well, it is not oversized as anticipated. The care instructions recommend handwashing, which is appropriate given the decorative flowers and beads.
