Great little kid-sized drybag
One of the nephews visited us about a month ago from Alaska (his dad, my husband's brother, is Aleutian and a fisherman) and jabbered on non-stop about his dad's and his uncle's "boat bags" - we weren't really sure what he was talking about, until he was playing with one of my husband's drybags one night, and we realized that's what he was talking about. Serendipitous that literally the next morning I came across this kid-size version in the Vine program, so of course I had to get it. It's hard to tell based on the material whether it will truly be as waterproof as some of the bags my husband or his brother have, BUT it looks the same and has the same kind of roll-top closure, so for anything the nephew needs to use it for at this point, it will be totally fine (he's only six). Color and pattern were as expected based on the listing photos, and as soon as the package arrives to their tiny post office (they're WAY out in the islands) I'm sure we'll hear all about how cool he feels, getting to pack his own "boat bag" just like his dad does!
