I decided to look up insoles for kids and found these. When I got them I was apprehensive, but when I took them out of the box, man are these well made. They are not too soft or flimsy and may be a bit hard but for a kid with no arch support and a very slight deformity to his foot these are gold. I bought these for my 7 year old grandson. He was complaining his feet hurt. We buy name brand shoes, but there is really no arch support in them. He has very flat feet. Only negative is they were a bit wide and long for his size 12 1/2 toddler shoes. I trimmed the ends just a bit. They have lines where you can shorten them on the end of the insole.
