This hoodie is very well made. The padding is in all the right spots, though a bit large. This doesn't come in women's sizes. The hoodie itself is very thick and warm. I maybe wouldn't be able to wear it all summer. The only reason I returned is because as a woman, I had trouble zipping easily. There's elastic around the bottom of the hoodie (keeps it from riding up) and with my wider hips, was too much tension. Make it for women and I'd gladly repurchase. Read more

Been looking for an armored riding hoodie and came across this. I will say it is good quality, cuffs have thumb loops to keep it from sliding up your forearms, and the waistband is tight at the waist with snap dongles to attach to your pants, the zippers seem to be good but it is hard to get the zipper started due to the zipper fabric that helps keep some wind out. The armor is in the right spot, I've never worn a armored hoodie, but the back armor is really stiff, and the elbow armor is also, the shoulder armor is perfect, you don't feel that at all. The hood is comfortable and warm, due to the tight waistband and tight cuffs, for the price, 1/2 as much as a streetfyter, it is a value. I will say, if your typically a small, order a medium, and so forth. The armor takes up the space for a typical comfortable size. I'm hoping I can work in the elbow armor, so it isn't so stiff, if not, I'll just buy some good elbow armor, it is all replaceable. All in all, I like it. Read more

Great product for the price of $35! Quality seems just as good as products that cost double or even triple. I bought a similar hoodie style armor for $100 and this hoodie seems just as good if not better. Fits well and the thumb loops are a nice bonus. Would recommend! Read more

Jacket is thick and decent however, it is too tight for the size. Pads are in the correct spots. Zipper is a majorrrr fail. I wouldve kept it if it wasnt for the completely nonoperational zipper. Its going back. Read more

I really liked it when I got it. It's thick and fits well. I usually wear a large but due to the fitment notes I got an XL and it fits perfectly. BUT then I noticed the zipper. It's really small and cheap so its hard to get it zipped correctly and not have it split open below the zipper. After wearing it a few times it broke off completely. Gotta send it back, bummer. I paid less than 50 for this jacket, and so I’m reviewing it compared to similarly priced jackets, which are largely often a joke. I was hit by a car and injured because some of my safety gear failed, so I am taking new gear seriously. I expected an off the rack hoodie with aftermarket pads sewn in by a middleman. What I got was a thoughtfully designed motorcycle hoodie that has impressed multiple long-term riders. My favorite feature is the thumb strap - it ensures your arm pads don’t slide out of place if you hit the ground (happened to me). It also has pant straps to cover your whole back if you wear gear pants. The arm pads cover from above my elbow down most of my bicep. It covers the shoulders and a decent amount of the back. These are CE 1 pads, so this is for city streets and boulevards, not 70MPH highway riding. Within those parameters, it’s well padded. I look like a linebacker from behind. I’m 5’1”, 200 lbs. I bought a small and it fits perfectly. I specifically needed to fit wide but short arms with a wide body; most jackets that fit my abdomen are too long and loose in the arms. The elasticity makes this jacket work. Both side pockets are internal mesh with solid zippers. I feel secure putting items in them while I ride. The left breast has another tight pocket that appears to be a water resistant material. It would definitely buy you some time to pull over and get your phone somewhere waterproof. The only drawback is it’s placed right where anything in it will be smashed and dragged if you slide on your left/front, so maybe not a great phone pocket anyway. The hoodie is thick and the zippers are of a good weight. It’s quite warm, too; good for a Southern California summer night or with layers in a colder region. Ordered for my 6' 210lb husband. He liked the fit so much that he tried to say he could make it work buuut it looked like he was wearing a kids sweatshirt. If this came in bigger sizes I would have just ordered 2 sizes bigger. Great price and feel. keep sizing in mind when ordering Read more

UPDATE: I got in an accident wearing this jacket. It was low speed and i didn’t slide, just hit the car with my body. The lining of the jacket made a large imprint and scraped my arm, the armor would have helped if i slid. Just wear a long sleeve under the jacket incase you get into a crash. Also, i have a huge bruise on the small part of my arm that the padding didn’t cover. Initial review before accident-The jacket is great, the waistband is tight so air is not getting in there. It’s super comfortable. the padding might seem a little stiff but if you just put the jacket on and bend the armor around your arms it’ll take the shape of your body.
