Yummy!
Just received a jar of the Cacao Nocciole by Marco Colzani from seller Gustiamo. I was looking for a chocolate hazelnut sauce that did not have garbage ingredients, like Nutella. This contains only hazelnuts (50%), cane sugar, and cacao. Because of the high nut content, the hazelnut flavor is very prominent so it's like a chocolatey, sweet quality nut butter, which is what I was looking for. It is super delightful. It has a runny consistency on opening it (unlike Amedei's Crema Toscana alla Nocciola, another brand I tried, which was not as good a flavor or consistency in my opinion; Amedei's has additional ingredients of milk powder and vanilla) so you can drizzle it on whatever you may desire. It is slightly pricey, but I justify it by the fact that so are other natural nut butters. I immediately wanted to order more jars, on tasting, to give to friends and family who would also enjoy it, but unfortunately, there was a weird limit (not sure if it is imposed by Amazon or the seller, in reality) of only one container per order through Amazon so I just went straight to Gustiamo's website and was able to get the additional amounts that I wanted. (I was subsequently notified by Gustiamo that the imposed limitation on Amazon was only a temporary thing because they could not keep product on the shelves since so many people were ordering it; they have been super accommodating in all ordering respects.) All in all, if you're considering this product and have not tried it before, I would definitely give it a try because I think you will likely find it to be delicious. Because I was a fan of the hazelnut chocolate spread, I decided to try the pistachio spread by Marco Colazani also (https://www.amazon.com/Pistachio-Spread-Marco-Colzani-Lombardia/dp/B076H9GD3Y/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=pistachio+spread&qid=1561187102&s=gateway&sr=8-11), and it did not disappoint either, although it is on the sweeter side of things. I may even like it more than the chocolate hazelnut spread, but I hate to choose! Read more
