OK..Here's the lowdown on these skirts. I am usually a size 8. I ordered the white skirt in medium and it was way to tight. I exchanged it for a large and it fit good. Soo..I ordered a dark denim one and a black one in large. The denim fit good BUT the Black was to big. I exchanged the black one for a medium and it fits great. The stretch material is great and the skirts are very comfortable and for the price you can't beat it. It seemed the black is a lighter material. The skirts length is a little above the knee (I am 5'6"). I may buy the dark gray next. The returns on Amazon are so easy although I would like an exchange button instead of going through that whole process everytime I needed a different size. Read more

Most of my wardrobe is size 16. But I lost 30 pounds, so I must wear a belt to hold my skirts up. I ordered a size 16 (XL) in this. I can get it buttoned and zipped, but it's a challenge. Won't need a belt with it, but it squeezes me out into an amazing muffin top, so my clothes still dont look smooth.When I lay it flat on top of a current size 16 denim 5 pocket skirt, it's an inch or more shorter, and half an inch shows on each side. (I took a pic, but I cant figure out how to give Amazon access to my photo gallery without giving it access to my canera. I'll be returning it. That said, the fabric is sturdy and stretchy.
