I picked this bag up for an optional gift bag and shopping bag. This bag has a really pretty print and is manufacturered out of pretty heavyweight canvas. Handles are reinforced but unfortunately they've used a running stitch which is known to unravel pretty easily. The main portion of the bag has been sewn using a much heavier duty stitch that they've run the ends off to finish leaving hanging threads. I appreciate the fact that the bottom of the bag is simply folded over fabric rather than a stitch seam, meaning that it will hold up to weight and wear much better. The bag measures almost 15.5 x 13.5 inches with a 11.5 inch handle (slightly smaller than advertised). No care tag has been included so I'm unsure how to launder this bag. While I'm a little wary on the stitching on the handles, overall this looks like a pretty well made and more heavy duty bag. I really appreciate the thicker canvas used in the manufacturing of this. I think the present price of $11.99 is within for our market value. Read more
This is a great little bag to carry back and forth to work. I don't need it every day, but when I'm carrying items such as kleenex, bags of candy, paperwork, extra shoes, etc ... all the things that won't fit in my lunch bag, this is my go-to. It's approximately 16" deep and 14" across. The drop on the handles is approximately 10", so it fits over my shoulder. It's a simple bag with no extra pockets, no zippers, no "extras". It's plenty sturdy enough to carry all the things I listed, and it is EXACTLY what I wanted. No frills, just a bag that fits my personality. I got the cats, but they have over 15 different styles to choose from. I have not washed it, but judging by the fabric, which is like a lightweight canvas, I think it will launder just fine. If it doesn't, I will come back and edit my review. I wouldn't pay over $10 if I were buying several bags to carry groceries, but for my needs this is perfect. Read more
