This collection of wooden structures is lovely. I purchased the lodge for my daughter-in-law, to add to her huge village collection :-) love the lights most of all it is very detailed and love the snow on the roof. Well crafted, and thought out. This little house is SO well made. It is a great size. It's not cheezy or cheap looking at all. While the battery powered light is just fine and great quality, I really wanted it to be a plug in light. I always leave lights on and run down batteries. I popped open the battery compartment and fed a short length of Christmas lights through the cavity and put it back in place. I have done this with a few of my little houses. I am able to plug it in and it will never go out. I love it. I absolutely love it. It reminds me of my parent's home, which is built in the style of a mountain lodge. If you are on the fence, I urge you to go ahead and get it. By taking off the little wreath in the front, it could be out all year long. Read more

I searched far and wide for something that would fit my rustic themed Christmas decor, and this cabin is beautiful. The quality of the wood is great, the details are very pretty. Only downside is the "snow" on the roof comes off very easily, so the roof is not completely covered. Read more
