Our veterinarian recommended the Ultra Chuck-it ball for our Border Collie, Newton, as part of "ball therapy" to improve his overbite. He suggested that we throw away all of the tennis balls and only introduce our puppy to the Chuck-it Ultra ball, and to have many of them, all over the house and yard! The tennis balls, he said, are abrasive to a canine's teeth; they leave little indents in the teeth that can collect plaque. Much care must be taken with dogs with an overbite, as crowded teeth can lead to plaque and dental problems. The grooves in the Ultra Chuck-it ball are apparently spaced just right for concentrating pressure on the necessary teeth; this pressure acts like a retainer to correct a dog's tooth alignment and bite. The goal in "ball therapy" is to encourage a puppy with an overbite to hold the ball in his mouth as much as possible. Chuck-it not only designed a ball with a focus on dogs' dental health, but it made a ball that our puppy loves to play with, so encouraging him to hold and play with the ball as much as possible has been easy! Once our Newt discovered that the balls squeak, he waa attracted to them and soon was addicted! The balls are very durable for high energy dogs who actively chew. They have amazing bounce, which encourages the puppy to learn to play catch. It wasn't long before our puppy learned how to play fetch! The squeaking really keeps him engaged. This seller had the best price by far on these Chuck-it balls, so I was able to afford a number of balls, as our veterinarian recommended. While "ball therapy" does not always fully correct an overbite and jaw alignment problem 100% of the time, it can often at least lead to some improvement. The Ultra Chuck-it squeaky ball definitely strengthens bonds between the dog and his owner, and facilitate play. Its bright colors make it easily stand out so they can be more easily found around the house. I highly recommend these virtually indestructible, balls for ball therapy and play therapy, too! They are a good way to combine health and play fun! Link to ball therapy, recommending Chuckit Ultra balls: 20240424_094814_copy.pdf Read more

Bought this for my 13 lb Scorkie. He loves it! Bounce is great. He chews on it a lot, but it still looks new after a month or two. Perfect size for his jaws. It's kind of hard to squeak, but that's because it's so tough. Read more
These are my dogs favorite balls by far, they absolutely LOVE them! I love that they don't have the fur like regular tennis balls, because my dogs would eat it and then I'd worry about stomach and/or intestine impaction. They bounce great, are perfectly round and are durable. My dogs can get the ends off where the squeaker is if they really want, so I don't give them to them unsupervised. To their delight (& not so much mine lol) the balls are pretty noisy, but I knew that and that's what I wanted. They are lightweight and fit nicely into ChuckIt sticks. Highly recommend these balls over traditional tennis balls for dogs. Read more

My small dog loves these balls. They are durable, squeaky and are perfect for his small mouth. My only dislike about these is the small piece that holds the squeaker. If they are chewers, and don't just squeak and chase the ball, they could probably work at it and pull the squeaker out. My dog doesn't eat his toys, but if you had a dog that did, this could be a huge GI issue. Read more
