Our twin Yorkies love these balls! The little holes on the surface are just the right size for the dogs to pick them up with their teeth and chase each other without dropping them. The glow in the dark feature is fantastic when picking up toys in the yard before going in for the night. So far, they show good durability. They are made of what feels like strong nylon or silicone. We have had them over six months and they still look brand new, but again, these are Yorkies, so that’s what I would expect. Read more
My Frenchie absolutely loses his mind for these Chuckit glow-in-the-dark balls—they’re the only ones he wants now. I’ve tried other Chuckit styles and even cheaper knock-offs, but he ignores them completely. There’s just something about these: the smooth texture, the softer feel, and of course the glow. He even takes one outside when he goes potty so it will glow brighter when he comes back in! He loves them so much that I finally subscribed so we’re never without a replacement (he tends to lose them often). If your dog is picky about toys or loves nighttime play, these are 100% worth it. These are too small. I don't know how they can make the balls for their own launcher and have them end up too small. I lost one on a roof because it slipped out of the launcher mid throw and the other one fell down a drain hole. Because it was too small it fit through the hole. If it was a tad bigger it wouldn't have. I like how bright they glow when you put it up to a light but that does little good when you lose them. I got these so I could see them in the dark and not lose them. How ironic. I guess I will stick with tennis balls which happen to be the perfect size. At least if I lose them it's cheaper to replace.
