Very absorbent without leaking thru. Does not tear easily. The tape is great and helps the pad stay in one spot, especially when turning over in bed. Also keeps the pad in place when using in reclining chair. I have also noticed that less is more, 1 or 2 pads instead of the 3 to 5 of the others. Bought these for my mom who suffers with incontinence,especially during the night. She loves them. They're hospital grade incontinence pads. She especially likes the sticky tabs to keep them in place. Because of the sticky tabs securing to the bed linens, she said these bed liners are comfortable against her skin and she doesn't have to worry about the edge of the plastic poking &/or irritating her skin while she's trying to sleep . I purchased these for my dogs and they work great. Added bonus is the tape on the back so I can secure them to the floor. I have one dog that doesn't want to go outside if it is dark or raining, but she won't tell me and will use the bathroom just inside the laundry room door. These have been a lifesaver so I am not constantly washing the floor mat. Also, they have a doggie door to go outside from the laundry room but with the constant in and out these stay secure.
