This is my second pair of these shoes. I have severe arthritis in both my feet and heel spurs in both feet too. Finding shoes that doesn't just kill my feet is almost impossible. I have Kuru shoes ($175) and On eclipsemonster shoes (their comfy but expensive and probably won't last long $150) these shoes cost a fraction of the price. CONS: Wear. Insert. Price. PROS: Comfort. Additional Thoughts: I wanted new shoes for my home gym for my treadmill and elliptical. I normally wear an 11 or 12 so I ordered the 11.5. They fit well! I have only worn them outside to walk around the town once and they are comfortable. The heal does have a different feel to it but I quickly got used to it. While on my elliptical, I sometimes can feel the insert moving slightly but that might be because I did not have the shoe laced up tight. The insert is not glued so it can be replaced if needed. I walked 8 miles on my treadmill and over 15 hours on the elliptical over 2 months and the shoes feel great. I do see some wear on the bottom of the shoes, probably mostly from the 1 day of walking outside, but the treadmill also caused some damage. I believe these will last more than 1 year if I keep them inside. The bottom wears quicker than I would like when used on pavement, but it also might be the way I walk. I took 1 star off because of the wear and price. The rest of the shoe seems to be good quality. I have not seen any stitching or glue issues so far.
