I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of this CiCiBird cap ruffle sleeve top. It’s heavier than I expected, which gives it a “rich,” well-made feel. The knit is supple and stretchy, and very comfortable to wear. I ordered a size small and it fits me well with a slightly loose fit (I’m 5'1" and 110 lbs). I love that the length covers my hips nicely. When laid flat, it measures about 23.5 inches from the center shoulder seam to the hem and about 17–18 inches across the front at around the waist. The color is a deep, rich black. The fiber content is 100% viscose. It has flutter cap sleeves, and the armholes are on the larger side, so that my bra band shows a bit. The neckline is a crew style but not tight or restrictive. Construction is very nice. The back is a solid knit, while the front has a looser knit with small spaces that you can see through. This is a cute top and I love the ruffle sleeves. The fabric feels nice and it seems really well made. It will be a great addition to my spring/summer office wardrobe. It also seems like a top that could be dressed up for business or be casual with a pair of jeans or a skirt, so I like the versatility. The issue I have is that it is more see through than I expected and that won't go over well in my office, so I will probably have to wear a camisole which is not ideal for adding an extra layer in the summer. It also has to be washed on the gentle cycle and laid flat to dry, which might limit the amount of times I wear it since it is not just a basic wash/dry. The size seems to fit as expected. The cut is a little boxy, but that is what I expected based on the pictures from the listing. I’m 5’6 and a 38DDD, ordered a large and this sweater fit nicely. It’s fitted, in case that’s not a fit you want. I would recommend wearing a cami underneath as there are decorative holes in the front. This is a heavy sweater, very well made and no loose threads. I washed this with cold water and a laundry sanitizer and the shape and fit stayed the same. I tumble dried on low, and when it wasn’t completely dry, I hung it to dry. This shirt is so pretty! It’s very soft and the fabric falls nicely. In my experience with inexpensive clothing that has anything complex like layers or ruffles, it often arrives looking nothing like the photo or an awkward fit. My expectations were low given the super affordable price point, but that did not happen here! The ruffled shoulders fall super nicely just as the listing photo advertises, and the overall quality of the shirt is great. The material is a very soft and comfortable knit, and the crochet holes are small enough not to have to layer anything underneath, but I would recommend a black bra or cami underneath. The quality of this top is pretty good. It’s a sweater and it’s nice and soft. However, the cut is not particularly flattering - at least not on me. The way it lays is very old fashioned. I wanted to like it because it’s very comfortable, but it just looks dated. In addition, the weave has a lot of holes so it’s somewhat see through. I got the black one and it definitely needs a black bra underneath - or a camisole. I wear a size 12 and this top fits just fine. I just wish it looked better.
