I ordered the City Bell women's short cap sleeved sweater/carnigan/vest in light blue. Before trying it on, it was washed on a delicate cyle and dried just long enough to get the drying process started, then taken out to air dry. It kept its shape, and after taking the photos for this review, the few wrinkles vanished quicky with use of a steamer. Appearance and comfort: It is really super pretty and feminine, but professional and modest. The synthetic fabric is soft, buttons are functional, and there is an unexpected trim on the neckline. My skin is sensitive, but this is not itchy, even without wearing a tank top underneath. Fit: The size recommended in the listing for my weight was XL. I am 5'6", 40 C, 150 lbs, a size 14 blouse and a size ten in pants or skirts. So busty, and I usually size up due to preferring things to not be too tight in the bust. In this case, though, I wish I would have sized down and ordered a large, rather than an extra large, as there is a bit too much room with the XL. The waist is designed with a bit of a narrower shape to it, helping this sweater to look more flattering than the more commonly found boxy styles. So even though it's a little too roomy for me, I still like it a lot and will be wearing it frequently this winter and spring with a long sleeved tee beneath it, along with jeans and boots, or for work with a high waisted skirt along with a jacket over it. Ordered this Cicy Bell sweater for my 22 year old granddaughter and she likes it. She says it's soft and slightly stretchy and was true to size. She likes the style and says it's versatile to wear with jeans or when you want to dress up. The sweater is lightweight so can be worn three seasons here in Texas. Very cute. Nicely made and nicely tailored. It's almost preppy of that's still a word. I got it for my daughter. She's 5'2", 115, and the small fit just just fine. Because the cut is not super tight, I'd say it's even a little forgiving in case you don't order exactly right. Either way I'd say it fits true to size. Again, it's nicely tailored.
