Description is Misleading!

This is advertised as an A-line skirt, but it is a skort, so I docked 2 stars for leaving out a hugely important detail. It is a nice skort, fit is true to size and the corduroy is soft and comfortable, with nice stretchy elastic. The corduroy is thick and feels durable as corduroy should. It's jot not as stylish as expected. The zipper works well and the hem is well done. Unfortunately it's not the look I was going for at all. I expected to pair this with a sweater, leggings, and boots. For what it is, the quality and fit are good, but it should be advertised as it really is. If this were just a plain black skirt it would be perfect, but this just has very limited uses. Read more

This is a skort- not a skirt or even shorts underneath a skirt. It’s shorts from the backside and a skirt from the front. There are no pockets (just fyi). The material is a thinner softer less structured corduroy and the waist is very elastic. It’s comfortable and flattering but I didn’t give it five stars because in my opinion listing it as a skirt is misleading (and will probably lead to frequent returns). I’m 5’6” and the length is good- not too “mini”. Read more

Not a skirt, a skort that looks like shorts from the back

This is very cute but it is a skort, not a skirt so the listing is inaccurate. It is also the type of skort that only looks like a skirt from the front while from the back you see only the shorts because there is no "skirt" material on the back of the piece. The material is a bit thin but stretches and seems durable. I think it runs true to size and I do like it other than the fact that it isn't a skirt so it's more of a casual piece than I wanted. My other complaint is that the zipper on the side is prone to sticking and isn't great quality so I imagine it will be the first thing on the skirt to wear out. Read more

Stylish, Soft, Versatile

The media could not be loaded. This black corduroy skort fits true to size and looks great — a skirt from the front and shorts from the back. The fabric is lightweight, soft, and comfortable, not heavy or stiff like some corduroy can be. The small slits on the front sides of the hem look really stylish and add a flattering touch to the overall look. The side zipper was getting caught onto the fabric so it only went down about half an inch, but that wasn’t an issue for me as the elastic back made it easy to pull on and off without any issue. I do wish the zipper had a hook at the top to make it more secure. It washes well (just be sure to wash with dark colors) and keeps its shape. Perfect for fall and just as cute for winter with tights or boots. A versatile piece you can easily dress up or down. Read more
