I just got this sweater yesterday and haven’t really taken it off since. It’s that good. The heart-shaped buttons are what sold me, literal little red hearts, wrapped in thread, fully functional, and just insanely cute. The fit is true to size (I got an XL), and it’s roomy enough to layer without being baggy or oversized. The collar is kind of hard to describe, but it gives this slightly vintage, seaside vibe that I love. The color isn’t a pure white, more of an off-white or cream, which feels softer and more wearable. It’s cozy, soft, and comfortable right out of the bag. For $40, I think the quality is right where it should be. It’s not high-end, but it definitely doesn’t feel cheap. Honestly, I’d buy this again without thinking twice. It's got the most adorable heart-shaped buttons and comes with an extra just in case. You can wear it buttoned up to the neck (it partially buttons up the neck) or wear it buttoned up to the upper sternum and leave the neck open. It did come in plastic and had an odd smell so we immediately sent it to be laundered. It's cute, soft and opaque. It's just starting to cool down to fall weather (the weather had been bouncing up and down from 60's to 80's, but is getting cooler this week so hopefully it will stay) so we can't comment on regular wear at this point. We will update this review if there are additional pros, cons or issues as we continue to wear the sweater as it gets cooler. Read more

This is a great sweater. The material is a very soft midweight viscose blend. It's opaque despite being white. The shade is ever-so-slightly off-white, but not quite cream. The sleeves aren't skin-tight, but they wouldn't be loose enough to allow for a bulky blouse underneath. The heart-shaped red buttons are adorable, although they do require a little more effort to maneuver than round buttons! The sweater arrived vacuum sealed and thus wrinkly, but it washed up (in the gentle cycle) and ironed out nicely. I know that Cider clothing runs small, so I sized up from my usual medium to large and it fits perfectly. Read more

It fits perfectly and has a fitted look rather than being baggy, which I love. It hugs the body in a flattering way but still feels comfortable and easy to move in. The knit is a bit thicker, which makes it warm, but it is not bulky at all. The material feels soft against the skin and is not itchy, so it is comfortable to wear all day. The concept of this sweater is great. The heart buttons are an adorable touch. The knit feels soft enough and looks good for casual wear. That said, the buttons were a pain to get through their holes; you have to angle them and push them through aggressively, making me worry about tearing the sweater. The buttons are plastic underneath, and look a bit cheap, so it's not the most premium detail. Overall, though, if you’re patient with it when buttoning/unbuttoning, it’s a cute piece to wear here and there. I don't have a lot of confidence in it lasting over a year, though. Read more

It's a sweet little retro sweater with red heart-shaped buttons! I love it! The fabric is thin enough to be a good layer for a cool evening over casual or more dressy outfits. It's thin, and fluffs up a little upon wear (or just no longer being in a vacuum-sealed bag). Read more
