Right off the bat these pants get an extra star because i am a short person 5’1” and it’s nice to get a patterned pant that isn't crazy long. Now that said, these are not pants I can wear with flats. They are very roomy and baggy so when they hit the floor flat footed, these pants are comical. In a pair of decent height heels, a more elegant fit. I like the subtle plaid, and these pants are thicker and more warm for cooler months. They only get a mid star rating from me because while I am petite and relatively slender 125lbs, I carry a lot of my extra weight in my hips and backside (pear). The roominess of these pants really flatten my backside and give my body a shapeless quality. If you want that dramatic large pant look, these are very nice and will give you a nice look. If you are trying to accentuate your legs and backside, I’m not sure these will do that. These pants are very roomy, close to maybe too big. Read more

CIDER is taking over my closet, and I’m not even mad about it. These plaid wide leg pants are one of my new favorites for fall. They look great with blouses, even better with turtlenecks, and hit it out of the park with a slim 1940’s style belted sweater. The legs are quite wide-cut, but the waist and hips are fitted for a really feminine silhouette. I am 5’2”, 115 lbs, and I ordered the small. They fit perfectly! The length is just right for high heels. I do think these might be too short if you are on the taller side. They have small belt loops, which I appreciate, and a belt adds a nice touch when wearing them. The pockets are fully functional and deep enough for your whole hand - not just a mini pocket. I washed them in the washing machine on low and ran them through the dryer - no problems at all. The material looks a bit cheap if you view the reverse (inside the garment), but from the outside it looks just fine. I would say these are a very good value for the price.
