I chose this Cider Midi Pencil Skirt as an addition to my in-office wardrobe. The XL size fits nicely on my curves (for reference, I'm 187lb and 5' 5"). The rich brown color feels elevated and seasonless, and the fabric has a structured look that works well in professional settings. The midi length is just right, and the slit adds shape without being too revealing. The CIDER brown pencil midi skirt is cute. I think it’s a bit longer than a midi skirt, it comes to a bit below my mid calf, about the same as on the model in the photos. I am 5’ 6” and about 190 lbs and I ordered the xl. The size chart states that the xl is equivalent to a size 10, I am usually a size 12 but this skirt fits me perfectly. There are pockets, a front slit and the front closure is a button, clasp and zipper, the back of the waist is elastic. The material of the skirt is 92% polyester and 8% elastane, it’s a bit scratchy but not bothersome against my skin. It’s well made with good strong stitches, no loose threads and no pulls, there were no odors out of the bag. I like Cider clothing and this skirt is what I have come to expect from Cider, it’s stylish and comfortable. I would recommend it. The skirt is very flattering. The material is heavier, but not too heavy. The maroon color doesn't go with much, other than black or white. It'll be good for winter, with a pair of boots. I am 5'6, 152lbs and the Large fits perfectly. Read more

It fits well! I'm petite so it falls at my ankle, a little above my ankle bone. It the waistband sits at my actual waist and it is a flattering shape. The fabric itself is kinda meh but I guess that's to be expected for the cost. It's not as heavy a material as some of my higher end workwear skirts but I'm okay with that because I live in a hot and humid climate and too much material is awful anyway.
