I was super happy to receive this UFO LED Bay light from CONOTON as we have an unfinished basement that we're working on to declutter and finish off. It has basically been storage for us during our child rearing years; thus, we've never gotten around to finishing it off. It has two builder grade garage doors (no windows for lighting), a builder grade steel door (again no window for lighting), and only 4 light sockets spread around the perimeter. This creates a darkness and shadows worthy of an 80's horror movie. We have been using different LED setups propped up in various areas to get more light to work. Unless they are suspended, it just isn't effective outside of the immediate area. Thankfully, there are outlets close to the garage door rails that were intended for openers, for which I am able to use to suspend and plug in this bay light. This made 'installation' a breeze for us. Immediately, over half of the basement is now immersed in light and is adjustable by using the remote, Alexa, or app if you prefer. As far as quality goes, this thing is overbuilt for my basement project, however I love having products that go above and beyond with safety and quality materials. This light definitely fits the bill with the IP65 rating for products that are created to survive dusty and damp environments such as warehouses and shop floors. The aluminum 'cooling fins' appear to keep the overall temperatures down as I haven't noticed a lot of heat emanating from the light. The downward beam of light is just what we needed for our basement project to eliminate shadowy areas. I love how the color temperature can be changed, helping adjust to any specific task's needs. I'm so impressed with this light that I am ordering a second to cover the other half of the basement. This creates a 'group' that can be controlled with the remote within a 16' diameter, or once again within the app. In all, this lighting system is great quality, utility, and functionality.
