I needed something to hold our sponge and other cleaning utensils and our soap dispenser at our kitchen sink. The space we have is about 3 inches deep by 8 inches wide. This one is a little over 3 inches, which is not ideal, but it is one of the only ones I could find that were not over 4 inches, which definitely wouldn't work. It does work. The width and height is perfect. I love the tall compartment - it holds our bottle and straw brushes perfecting. The hand soap dispenser can be used just fine without tipping the tray. I wish there were another divider I could put in for the sponge, but I found that the dish soap did better if the separator was there. The divider can be moved around, which is nice. Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: The tray for catching water doesn't really fit very securely, but it is definitely working to drain the water into the sink. I love that the direction of the spout is customizable. The other thing we don't like is that the feet are metal and they slide around, so we're looking into silicone wrappings that we can add to the feet so we don't scratch the brushed chrome and it stays put a little better. Great looking, so it passes the spouse test, very functional, fits all our sink equipment, is adjustable, the small divider is easily moved, just lift it up and slide it down the closest wire (it his made of two wires that act as a guide and keep it held secure in place) and let it drop into place, it stays there securely. The large holder can be moved as well, so we moved it back and forth with our scrub brush in it to see where it is best positioned. The spout on the bottom is white plastic, and swings in any direction you want to point it, you don't have to use the spout at all because you can just swing iy underneath and then plug the hole with the white plastic stopper plug that comes with it, we are using the spout because that is the point of this kind of organizer, it acts as a drainer that allows the brush and other wet items to drain quickly, stay sanitary so they don't smell, and direct that water into the sink so it doesn't pool up on the countertop. So far we are thrilled with it, we have the stainless steel version so it matches out sick and we expect that it will not rust, the tray on the bottom is white plastic so it appears to be able to stay clean as well and our initial reaction to it is that its excellent.
