City Threads Girls Cotton Cropped Capri Leggings

I love the City Threads shorts and leggings for girls and that they are made right here in the USA. The elastic band used to make the shorts and leggings is spot on, it's stretchy but stays put all day. I cannot tell you how many brands we've been through that use very firm elastic that pinches or makes my daughter's stomach hurt from the pressure. So a big THANK YOU to City Threads for getting that part right. Here is my opinion on sizing; when I first discovered City Threads my daughter was 4 years old but the size 4 was too tight fitting and the band was just a little too snug so I had to order the size 5. Now that my daughter is 5 years old we're ordering size 7 for two reasons. The first reason is that the size 7 waist fits well around the waist with a little room to grow without sagging at the end of the day. The second reason is that the size 7 gives her a loose fit around the thighs and buttocks instead of a traditional skin tight legging. Because my daughter has eczema we need a loose fit, because tight fitting clothing makes her sweat and that would cause more eczema. I don't feel the sizing needs to be adjusted, because I think any child without eczema would be just fine with the clothing the way it is, but I did want to share our experience to hopefully help someone else dealing with eczema. I’ve bought countless pairs in various sizes over the years. Love that these are longer but still fit my girls that are on the thin side. There’s a lot of stretch so I think these would be great for many body shapes. Great quality…hold up over the years and many, many washes. Read more

My daughter is fairly tall for a 10 year old(5ft 1 inch). But this is full length, past her ankle size leggings to her. I love the material and comfort as these are famous for. Just that I wanted a capri style to wear in summer. Read more

The color is beautifully vibrant. The weight of the fabric is nice. Love that is 100% cotton. My daugher is 9; we purchased the 14. This capri fits well and is comfortable. This brand's leggings run long...the capri fits almost like full-length legging from other brands; it hits an inch or two above her ankle (she is 59.5 inches tall). We love them! Read more

I have had such a hard time finding pants for my daughter who doesn't fit the "slim" or "skinny" sizes. These fit her so well that I've bought 3 more. They have held up well and I will be buying more in the future. Read more

This were the match for my daughter's Epcot france inspired dress. My little one has excema on her legs so anytime she wears a dress, i put her in capri leggings. They are a little expensive for toddler leggings ($16) but they are good quality. I would consider buying them again if found in other colors. Read more
