Customers find this folding pocket knife to be an excellent EDC tool with a razor-sharp blade that holds its edge well.

A great EDC for the price with top tier features.

Customerβ€”June 7, 2025

This is an extremely high quality knife (especially for the price) that came out of the box scalpel sharp. Nothing about its design is cheap, it's ambidextrous for the south paws and easily opened/closed with one hand. It's not a huge knife so if you have large hands you might find it small. I have medium sized hands and can get a 4-finger grip on the handle. Large hands will likely get 3. Because of the type of steel which is very tough and retains an edge, and again is *sharp,* it is prone to rust - so this requires one to take some care with exposing the blade to moisture. If you're looking for a small/medium EDC knife with a lot of features for the price point this is a very good buy. Read more

Civivi wood and Damascus pocket knife

Gauge Stoufferβ€”September 3, 2025

Good quality and good looking at the same time is usually hard to come by, but somehow it's MASTERED in this knife, the damascus blade brings in the looks from others no matter the situation, but looks aren't the only thing this knife good for.... because this thing is SHARP, like not uh oh I have a cut sharp but like OH NO IM MISSING MY FINGER type sharp. The textured wood handle makes it easy to hold onto no matter the task at hand. And don't get me started on the price, nowadays a good quality and good looking knife will costs HUNDREDS. But worry not this is super affordable for the quality that it's giving. In conclusion, don't buy this knife if you want a cheap built, one time use, casual, ugly knife, because you'll find yourself getting more compliments on this knife than any other EVER. And you'll look pretty sharp while using it ;) Read more

Sometimes, a company just gets it right... this is one of those times.

Dr. Knifeβ€”October 31, 2024

***UPDATE: I recently bought the black-bladed version, and the handle on that one has much better grip IMO. I prefer it to the first one I got, but they are both great knives. **** I just got this one in, and all I can say is WOW! This knife is just really nice, folks. This one is sure to go down in the EDC Hall of Fame. It's smooth, it's slick, and the design is remarkable. The fit and finish is top notch, and the factory edge on this knife is superb. No blade-play in either direction, useful blade shape, just the right size, ergos are excellent, and the centering is perfect. We'll see how it holds up, but I have very high hopes for this one. I'll update as necessary, but I can't find anything wrong with it... at all. I think this one is going to be a winner all the way around. I would say go ahead and buy it now! Like I said above, sometimes, a company just gets it right... and this is one of these times. Bravo Civivi! UPDATE: If there is a knock on this knife, it is that the G10 is a bit slick, and this is accentuated by the fact that the knife is a smaller edc-style knife. However, that does not take away from this brilliant design. This is still a great knife and serves well as a small edc knife that can handle most edc jobs. I would recommend a slightly longer handle and better grip on the G10, and then it would be perfect. I'm going to leave my rating as is because there is still so much to like about this knife. Good, with a few caveats

Nick the Knifeβ€”November 24, 2025

The Yonder has some hype around it being that Zac Whitmore is the designer. I have had this knife since shortly after it was released. Having carried it for a while, I can say that it is a bit small for my XL hands. Yes, I can get a secure grip, but I am a bit cramped for 3.5 fingers. I added a lanyard to one of the stand-offs and that helps a bit, but overall it is a bit smaller than I'd prefer. I know a larger version is coming soon and will probably be the size i'm looking for. The build quality is typical Civivi, which means it is well made and the materials are top notch for the price. Contoured G-10, thin and slicy grind on the 14C28N steel- all good. The crossbar lock is relatively new for Civivi and this model might have been the first. Mine has a soft detent, which means blade retention is not that strong. I can shake the blade open pretty easily. I wouldn't trust throwing this knife loose into a bag or backpack as it wouldn't take much to open it accidentally. I do think I have read that they might have firmed this up since the early release knives like mine. If this was a bit bigger and the detent was stronger, it would be a 5/5. As is, I would say a 4/5 and probably best for small-medium hands. I hope this review helped! Read more

HUGE Civivi fan

V. Soler Jr.β€”February 22, 2025

I have become a huge Civivi fan due to the quality and functionality of their knives. They are not overly expensive but are well made and of very good quality. The Civivi Yonder is my go to pocket knife but I am splitting time with the Civivi Sendy. The Yonder had a more robust structure than the Sendy so it's better for some of the more rugged needs. The handle texture is absolutely great and looks phenomenal. The knife came razor sharp out the box and has kept its sharpness going on a few months. Has a great deep pocket clip. Would highly recommend this knife if you're looking for a sturdy, every day use type knife. Read more

Fantastic knife at a great price.

Tom Hauserβ€”July 15, 2025

This is a great little knife. I took my time deciding if I wanted to get it or not. I shouldn't have waited. The build quality is excellent, better than many more expensive knives I own.Good steel, keeps a good edge and sharpens easily. The handle shape and material are very good. As a lefty, both the clip and the lock are very friendly to my needs. It flips open smoothly and quickly, and can be closed one-handed just as easily. It's become my go-to work knife and EDC, replacing several more expensive knives that aren't the complete package this is. Get one, you won't be disappointed! Read more
