A Pair of Glasses That Does It All

kenaciousJanuary 31, 2026

My son has the name brand version of a popular pair of smart glasses and I have used them on a trip a few months ago. I thought the functionality of smart glasses was awesome, since I could keep my hands free and keep a camera, music and search app on my face all the time. Those name brand ones were super expensive. These CJkao ones are a fraction of that but I feel they work fantastically! The look is different than other smart glasses with the frame being larger and the legs slightly thicker, but the fit and finish are great and they fit very well. These do not feel flimsy at all and they feel very durable. The battery life has been pretty good and with easy usage, I have not had to charge them even after at least a few days. These pair fit a tad bit better than the other pair as I don't feel the weight of them nearly as much. I think the nose area is wider so there is more surface area over my nose and they feel secure. I feel like I can wear them all day and they are secure on my face. Filming while I am active is always a scary thought since the glasses could pop off, but these feel good and paired with a strap to hold them on my head, they are great. The tinted lenses are on par with my other sunglasses and the tint is a tad bit on the darker side which is nice when the summer sun gets intense. The buttons give a secure, clean click and the functions are not complicated. The wake up phrase is "Hey, Cyan" so that takes a bit of getting used to but at least I don't trigger my phone's assistant when I have normal conversations. The flash/light lights up when I am recording or taking photos, but I have blocked it with my finger and it still functions with good clarity and sharpness. The app is easy to use just like the other big brand so the learning curve is small. Playing music is easy but the only thing that was a downer was the bass response. The speakers could be more robust but then again, I am picky about my bass. Phone calls come through just fine. If you are mostly into podcasts and ebooks, this is a non-issue. I like not having earplugs in to hinder my normal hearing so having these smart glasses are great for that. It's another tech toy that is useful and I have it on hand. I am really enjoying these glasses. Read more

Affordable Smart Glasses

LilEvilFebruary 16, 2026

The media could not be loaded. I put these on and that were pretty large for my child-size head so I had my fiancé use and review them. For reference, I wear junior and children sunglasses. :p Picture for comedic relief. I’ve been using these glasses for a couple weeks and overall I’m impressed with how well they work for the price and they genuinely feel useful and fun to use. The glasses themselves feel sturdy and well made. They don’t scream tech demo or make you look like a nerd. The frames feel solid and comfortable and I’ve worn the form hours without feeling any nose or ear discomfort. Pros: The built-in speakers are surprisingly clear which is great for podcasts, calls, and music; Bluetooth connects easily to my phone and stays connected; the touch controls are intuitive once you get the hang of them; and the battery lasts comfortably through a few work commutes. Cons: Audio isn’t top tier but I’m not an audiophile so that doesn’t really bother me; the touch controls *can* take a little getting used to; and some features like voice assist gestures can be hit or miss depending on the phone. Also when taking pictures, a flash goes off and it doesn’t seem that can be turned off. Probably to keep people from being a creep (could be a pro and con). And last, the obvious one… you can’t wear these at night. Overall these glasses are a great value for every day use. I like to wear them while biking, roller skating, and running errands so I can be aware of my surroundings and still listen to music or take calls. If you want smart glasses without spending a lot of money then these are totally worth considering. Read more

Stylish Wayfarer-Style Smart Glasses with Camera, Audio, Translation, and Great Value

Fidelio Q.January 26, 2026

These smart glasses are surprisingly good and pack a lot of practical features into a stylish and affordable package. The overall build quality feels solid, and while only long-term use will tell how durable they truly are, my first impression is very positive. They also have a classic Wayfarer-style design, so they look like regular sunglasses rather than a bulky tech gadget. As sunglasses, they perform well too. The lenses provide decent sun protection and are perfectly usable as everyday sunglasses, which makes them easy to wear even when you’re not actively using the smart features. Pairing them with my Android phone was quick and hassle-free via Bluetooth. After downloading the companion app from the app store, the glasses were up and running without any issues. The app is intuitive and makes it easy to control settings, camera functions, and other features. The built-in rechargeable battery offers good battery life and easily lasts through regular daily use, including taking photos, recording short videos, using translation, and listening to audio, without the need for frequent recharging. The camera functionality is impressive for such a small lens. You can take photos and record videos either using the controls on the glasses themselves or through the app on your phone. Image quality is surprisingly good considering the camera size. In fact, the photos in this review that show the product box (the last three photos) were taken using these smart sunglasses. The live translation feature is a useful bonus. While the translations are fairly basic, they work well for simple sentences and short conversations. The real-time voice translation can be especially helpful when traveling as a tourist and needing quick communication. Another nice feature is that these glasses can also be used as earphones. You can listen to music, audio, or calls directly from your phone, which adds to their everyday convenience and reduces the need to carry separate earbuds. The controls are well thought out and easy to use, featuring two physical buttons along with two touch-sensitive controls built into the frame, allowing you to operate most functions without reaching for your phone. Overall, I’m very satisfied with these smart glasses. They combine a stylish look, decent sunglasses performance, good battery life, and useful smart features at a much more reasonable price than similar products from big-name brands. For anyone curious about smart glasses or looking for a solid value option, this product is easy to recommend. Read more
