Each time I order this, which works well for my thinning hair and exposed scalp, and it comes in a nice case with a mirror and brush. The brushes hold up so well that a new one is not needed every time I order. I don’t need the mirror, as I use my bathroom mirror when applying. The small brick of the compressed powder would be easily replaceable without needing a new case and brush. A refill brick would be easy to do —and cheaper. After trying many Hair Root touch out powder, this is the best one I found! It looks so natural and apply very easily. It’s not sticky or make the hair look greasy! I felt a little silly ordering this but I have more gray than I'd like around my temples. This is almost like an eye shadow pan with a longer brush. Easy to use and apply. Looks natural and lasts a long time. Absolutely worth what you pay for. I will say it's not for a full head or a large area. Better for small patches or areas. Read more

I love this product! It's so much easier to use than the sprays. I don't have to worry about it going anywhere except where I put it. I use it to fill in at the front where it feels a little thinner than it used to. When I can see my scalp where my hair parts, I just dab a little powder on and it stays all day. Just makes me feel a bit more comfortable. You can also use to touch up a little gray between colorings. I would say I have medium brown hair and I chose the light brown powder. It's perfect. This stuff is the bomb. I was skeptical about buying it, but decided to try it. I have areas of gray hair where my scalp now looks very white (lack of pigment in the hair follicles makes the skin look whiter), which makes my hair then look thinner (looks like more scalp is showing). I dusted this stuff on, pressing into the scalp at the "bald" spots, and then dragging out through the gray hair. It gives my scalp just enough color so that the "bald" spots don't look bald any more, and the gray hair was completely covered. Light brown is NOT light! I put this on my eyebrows and it was almost black! Completely useless for my light brown hair! I gave it three stars because it is otherwise a good product…goes on smooth and lasts all day on brows. (Have not tried it on my roots…too dark) Read more
